Could you live in a small Timber Frame Cabin?

Some may answer reactively “no” or assume “yes” just based on a sense of adventure.

Perhaps the “tiny home” explosion has really prompted a trend and movement towards downsizing. Yet, when we look at tiny homes and small production homes – there is quite a jump – tiny homes may be around 300-500 square feet, where a production home may start at 1400 square foot.

In between these two “Standards” there lies a major opportunity to remove the claustrophobic feel of a tiny home, but yet bring the living space down to the very essentials and use spaces for multiple purposes. It could be called “compact luxury” or just a smaller hybrid timber frame home.

These hybrid timber frame house plans work perfectly as an ADU, studio or 2 person living space.

These plans are two bedroom, one bathroom – watch the video to be taken through the plans and concept!
